Hey. I usually have a lot of free time at work. I utilize that at searching websites, forums and blogs that are Do-Follow and have a High Page-Rank. Sometimes, I just create comments or Forum Profiles to back-link my Website with the keywords from my niche. But something just puzzled me today. Up til now, I was just back-linking the index page of my website ( Home-Page ) with my keywords but a few talks puzzled me. There are people that back-link the internal keyword pages too. Which one is better and what should we be doing about it ? By Internal Pages I mean, I have an article about Megan Fox at a page, then I create back-links with "Megan Fox" as keywords to that page instead of the index page. Which one is good ?
Yes you got that absolutely correct Most of the time you should be targeting your homepage and when you have enough backlinks for your homepage, start building for inner pages too. If the article about Megan Fox is at the inner page, go for it and get a backlink for the inner page itself with the keyword Megan Fox, this will boost your rankings in the search results
I'm sorry but this is not an advertising forum. You have just 11 Posts and you've spammed that link everywhere.
Anchor text and URL should match the purpose. If you are posting a link about a page which has some content about Megan Fox, it definitely implies that you'll post to some community, forum or else where people are interested in reading about Megan Fox. So why take them to your homepage and let them digg their way to the "Megan Fox" page they actually came to read . Instead link the original content directly and then use a keyword rich footer to drive some link juice to homepage if you wish.
