Game sites with Adsense

Hey,

Personally i am having problems with getting a CTR that is evening getting close to 1% or higher. I checked out a lot of guides and reviews but it doesn't seem to work for me for some reason. The current websites i am owning have +500, +800 and +2000 unique visitors a day but i am not making more then 1,5$ out of those +3300 visitors.

Are there people on DP who are owning game sites with adsense that are doing much better CTR / CPC wise or is it just a really bad niche?

I think that for game sites you should use some affiliations related to you niche game site.
For adsense you should use if you have a real estate website or a health website, those are the best paying niches.

 

I have tried Amazon, Clickbank and ad4game backgrounds but that is even worse then Adsense for those websites. Anyway suggestions?

(What are estate websites btw, micro-niche sites?)

 

Can you tell the locations of visitors coming to your site?? Most Dominant countries...

 

Maybe the problem is that most of your visitors are from low paying locations?

 

Game nich has LOW CTR and low PPC ...nothing to do about it ...

 

I own a gaming site as well, though mine is related to a particular RPG series. My CTR is less than 1 percent and I earn only around $2-5 a day :\. That's why I decided to place ads in our image gallery as well (placed 2 leaderboard units). I usually get 1000 hits on the first day I upload something to the gallery, so it helps, I think.

 

Try place ads below the download. Im sure it can increase the ctr.

 

I prefer black theme for gaming site, this will help you to increase your CTR.

 

Try to optimize your ads.
