I just put up my new website a few days ago. I have the SEO set up awesome via Wordpress I just dont have ALL the content/pages added. Would it be a good idea to submit my website to Google now to get crawled? That way as I update it over the next few weeks it will keep crawling and seeing new content? or should I wait until I have ALL content up to submit?
If core content is missing... then you need to upload it first. Then you may proceed with content updates (like blog posts)
I would have Google crawl it as soon as possible. You want to get indexed as fast as you can. Adding pages later is part of a normal cycle for the growth of the website and those pages are added to the search results as they are uploaded. Loading hundreds of pages at a time screams "Spam Site" to Google. Definitely don't want to put up broken links however.
Its okay, doesn't matter, you can start it simultaneously same time as you are updating your site. Start first by posting your site in the homepage section of this forum in your profile settings. This way you will keep getting backlinks the more you come here and comment frequently You can check my first site in the signature, I am still updating it and got more than 1000 backlinks.
you can submitt it, new content is normal procces for any website , if the content you have on it is worth crawling, submitt it
No problem to start being indexed provided you have "some" content, as soon as you add more it will look like you have more fresh content. But do NOT submit, better create some links so that search engines find you "naturally". For example, add it to your signature for one month...
i assume you have a google sitemap plug in for yoour WP blog. That should help let the search engines know you are adding content. keep adding content and your site will be indexed, let it be natural.
Disagree. First, the question is about search engine submission. You respond about link building. But in both cases it's OK to start with SE submission and even link building as soon as you consider that you have some reasonable content (not one page, mind you!). If the website will have dozens or even hundreds of pages, the sooner you start sending it to search engine the better because a) your site will be visible sooner, b) it will have "aged" naturally by the time you finish, weeks or months later, c) it will look to the SEs as if you add new fresh content (which is something search engines like) and d) you will start attracting customers. Regarding link building, it's the same thing: Since you will have to start gradually (ten thousand sudden links looks suspicious), you might as well start ASAP, even if initially they do not provide much value.
