Some of the best marketing you'll ever do....

    Hello!

I'm creating this thread to discuss a very important topic - Marketing.

I'm aware that everyone wants to know how to market their products/websites to gain traffic, leads etc, but how can you do it effectively?

Sure, you can do website SEO, blog posting, article writing and more, but what about those 'outside the box' methods?

Now recently I came across Fiverr. I know it's been around for yonks, but I hadn't explored it, until now.

On Fiverr, you can find some of the most unique marketing methods, for just $5, and make your company stand out.

    Here are my top 10:

    1.) Message on a Balloon

This users claims to buy a 'helium-filled latex balloon' in the colour of your choice. They will then write your message, attach it to the balloon and release it in clear daylight in Chesire, UK - with a photo to proove this. Cool huh?

    2.) College Campus

This user will advertise mostly anything you want at their college campus in Boston. He claims that there are 5,000 kids in his school, and he will post 50 flyers on bulletin boards, in dorms, under peoples doors, at the library, in lecture halls, in front of computers, in the cafeteria, and in bathrooms.

    3.) It's a wrap...

How about a custom animation/video for your website? Everyone loves animation, and watching something which will take you back to your childhood days is sure to be uplifting. For only $5, you can have a great custom animation for your website, great for a website intro!

    4.) Hello America? David Letterman?

This one is my favourite! This user will interview you for 15 MINUTES on her popular blog talk show. You'll get fully copyrights to your recording to put it on Youtube, FB, your blog or wherever else!

    5.) It's an Ad break

Ever wanted to be on a commercial? This user will play your commercial on their podcast for just $5. Audio commercials only - this podcast is on iTunes.

    6.) Transform me baby!

This guy will do a voiceover which is perfect in combination with a commercial spot. His voice sounds exactly like Megabot from Transformers. He's great!

    7.) Sock Man!

This user will dress up as a sock monkey and take a picture of himself with a message of your choice....;)

8.) As high as a kite...

This one seems almost too good to be true, this guy will put your message on a balloon plane for just $5. What's the catch?

    9.) You're driving me crazy!

This one is pretty cool. The user will drive around with magnetic signs advertising your business for 5 days. At just $5, that's a lot of potential!

10.) You scratch my back i'll scratch yours

Ever thought about having a newsletter? This guy will send your newsletter to targetted clients for just $5, and he will create one for you for an extra $5. It's a great way to expand your company and will definitely bring in more punters.

    Thanks for reading!

The 15 minute interview has a lot of potential. I would think that nothing makes you an "instant expert" faster than a good video interview. Especially if you're trying to sell yourself offline.

Good idea. You would be surprised how many radio talk show hosts need expects to fill up time slots. Often you can get a 15 segment where you give out great info, and then get the chance to plug your own business. This works great for small local businesses, where the radio station gets a decent audience.

Try contacting your local radio to discuss becoming the local expert on "insert subject here".

    It's worthwhile. Free PR

Well sounds good and its a mix up strategy of offline and as well online marketing. All the methods are effective and are used by most of the advertisers in their local region.

#9 really depends on where is the guy driving around. I don't think it is too effective.

Yes! I think fiverr is the best...you can sell your service or whatever you want to sell through this website...however you also can buy a service promoted by others seller.
