    At first read all the TOS of Adsense properly and try to understand them properly. I think you will know all the requirements which are required for approval of Adsense account.
    Make a good website with good quality, unique and error free articles. Then do some SEO for good number of traffic. Then apply for Adsense account and after approving your application, show ads to your site.

    Since you didn't start making money with AdSense yet, I suggest you stay away from it. Google will be breathing down your neck each and everyday when you have AdSense up on your sites. It's funny having all these people who claim they make $1000 per day on AdSense disappear few weeks later.
