would like to know cost of living in Singapore as planning to migrate there

please help know general cost of basic house rent, and overall monthly expense.

 

Hi there, I'm from Singapore. Cost of living is really high in Singapore. It's a very small country but one of the richest too. it depends what kind of house. It's really costly.
If you are earning more than 5K USD than you are pretty stable. Just nice Just right.

 

My uncle lives in singpore.Living cost is so high in sinapore..It depends on type of accomodation n area..but as we know the beauty of singapore its good place to settle..

It is a really advanced country. You need to me rich if you want to live there. I have a friend there who earn nearly 4000 USD per month and saves nothing.

 

Singapore has one of the highest standards of living in Asia.

However, you'll find that in this sunny little island, the food here is actually comparatively cheaper than many other developed countries - it's very possible to fill your stomach with just $3.00.

Achiever's right, it's a very, very fast paced country. Everyone's rushing here and there, and that makes this country a little soulless, in my opinion.

 

why are you trying to leave your motherland permanently. Love your soil. It is the best treasure. I bet you will miss your own country when you will settle in singapore

The cost of living in Singapore is high possibly because of the standard of living the country provides. It is one of the cleanest cities of the world.

 

it living cost in singapore are high . it about $500 a month . i can recomaned you to thailand for low cost living .

Well I have friends who have moved there, and from what they tell me it's not much different from living here in the UK. Average monthly costs for living are around 1000 pounds, which is about $1200 I think.

 

woow... that cost is too much dude ? didnt you have saving account for your future?

 

Of course not, it's not too much. This is including everything, rent, food, gas, water, and electric bills etc. Plus occasional nights out and takeaway maybe once a fortnight. That's roughly what it works out at.

Don't worry too much. If you earn dollars, you will not feel it very expensive, for common life.

 

yes for average would be $1600 USD monthly. You can't even have any saving. Yes unless you stop your weekly shopping. Too many rich people coming here and invest. ok this is crazy.
