What are some Onpage and Offpage strategies you all use?

I am not asking asking for beginning purposes or because I don't know.... I guess I should rephrase it and say: Out of curiosity, what are some On Page and Off Page techniques you all use? ....Then based on answers, would have sparked more conversation....

 

Well everything that is in that article are techniques that people use for both on-page and off-page optimization. Anything that is not in that post comes with personal experience over the years.

After a few years of optimizing websites, you develop your own techniques and strategies for optimization.

But as far as techniques and strategies go, the thread link I gave you contains everything you need to know. It sais for beginners, but it goes for anybody that needs help with optimizing they're website.

Another thing is that your question is very broad ! If you could find a specific question to ask, ill gladly answer it.

For on page SEO techniques i have considered title optimization,content optimization,uses 2-3 percent keyword density,link optimization,meta tags.And for off page optimization i have considered some ethical link building techniques like forum posting,blog commenting,guest blogging,article submission,directory submission,video submission,Press release and so on.

On page is mainly concerned with the content,keywords and meta tags where as off page concerned with the links.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is no such thing as keyword density anymore. It is completely diluted by now. It isn't because I repeated my keywords 15x instead of 40x that I'm going to have better rankings. Use your keywords as much as you need, just don't stuff your keywords and look the most natural possible.

As for link optimization, I think you mean anchor text optimization. Anchor text optimization is very important because it what will help you achieve higher rankings for your keywords. Make sure to always include your keywords or key phrases in your anchor text.

And which Meta Tags are you talking about ?? Because the Meta Keywords Tag, is a complete waste of time. It has no more value what so ever and including them is very useless and a waste of time.
