Check out Scottrade.com for trading. For stock/financial message boards goto investorshub.com. Also check out AmericanBulls.com..... I Hope that helps! -C
I use scottrade and sogotrade. Sogotrade seems very good for $3/trade but doesn't have access to a lot of pink sheet stocks. Their support is a little slower than scottrade but for the price, I don't blame them. Scottrade seems wonderful as well, been helpful when I have called in and only $7/trade with access to most every stock I have tried to buy.
You are right ............................. stock trading now a vast and most popular in all over world .....
Trading is risky business, so if you don't understand how the market mechanisms work, you better learn firsthand. And watch out for the trader platforms, they can be very tricky. Read well all details.
I was using sharebuilder, easy to use for green horns, lots of info to help on the learning curve, trades a lil pricy though. And you're right 09-10 was a crazy year for the stock market. And if you knew what you were doing you certainly could have positioned yourself for some insane gains. However in my opinion , well I'm hanging out in the IM forums these days instead of the stock market ones I use to.
Well as far as from my experience,scottrade.com is the best website for trading with stocks(stock trading)
Stock trading is risky depending on who you ask I guess. I read some guys who just made a nice bundle in the stock trade and they said they do so regularly. Then you have the other guys who are slowly, but, surely in the stock market.
Why didn't you just set a stop loss at $6 when it got that high, so even if the stock starts to go lower you'd still make 100% profit. Then as the price of the stock goes up, you set your stop loss higher and higher as the stock goes up. You only sell if the stock starts to go down. But if it goes up that much, even if the stock starts to go down, you're still profiting, and you're not selling while the stock is on an up-trend.
Be wary of scottrade, they pulled my credit report without permission once. Any company willing to do that, either has poorly run or worse management. Ended up going with etrade
