Hey everyone I'd like some honest feedback on what you think of my ecover designs. PS: One of them is a simple mock book cover for WarriorForum Cheers!
ye.zero, You did a very good job! Straight to the point. Good work! Did you used any book-template image? If "yes", could you let me know which one and where from?
hey zolink, thanks for the feedback. I designed them from scratch, so they weren't templates. Cheers mate
very nice, on the first one it might be better if the top half was pixelated, and the bottom half smooth and nice. Just an idea! Seems like you might be able to do something better then the @ symbol too.
Good job ye.zero, if u dont mind can u share with us here, what script you use for your design? it maybe a new script in the market
1. The @ was asked for by the client 2. I don't use scripts, I prefer every client of mine to have a unique cover - different from general ones seen everywhere. Well, if you guys need anything done, give us a shout Cheers
ye.zero, you've done an EXCELLENT job on those graphics! Man, I'm impressed. After writing an ebook and doing my own graphic work, I thought I had done a fair job (http://www.pipm.info/images/pipm_book4.bmp) but you slam dunked me!! SUPER WORK!!!
I like both of them however, it will be nicer if you remove that ring thing on the corner of cover 2 Didier
Yup, i like to ask the same questions too. or do u can share here how u design lke that , if u have tutorials where we can get? Is that sharing is caring?
There are software tools to create those. You only have to design the front cover, back cover (if needed) and side and the program will create the 3d look for you Very simple stuff! Didier
Its quite easy really. All you have to do is to print out the design, wrap it around a real book and take a photo. Manipulate this photo in photoshop to make it LESS real and voila!
Aha, yes sharing is caring. But then, if everyone knew how to make them, I'd be out of business. eh? eh? Yes I do. But you probably won't find me me on Scriptlance or Freelancer etc. geez, I mean, talk about high expectations on extremely low budgets.. Anyhow, I was asked today by someone to create a software box as means of a demo, so here is the 'mock' design for something that doesn't really exist Cheers
