    In general you need backlinks from sites with high PR ..the higher the better.

    PR doesn't really make much difference, but get backlinks from High Authority/PR websites.

    You need backlinks. Have a read here - increase backlinks.
    If you're going to start and build up backlinks, you might as well purchase a REAL domain and grab some hosting, start building a site that is more suited for something like this rather than using blogspot.

    Yes! You got to Find Good Number of backlinks from reputed, high PR sites. Gaining PR is a time consuming thing. I have tried many, But worked very few methods. Avoid Link Exchanges, Avoid Link buying. Let people link to you because of the importance of your content. Thats the best way.

    Increasing PR means you got to get backlinks for your site and you can get backlinks buy doing Offpage optimization.

    I think.... there are more than 200 factors involved in getting good Page rank according to Google toolbar.....

    It will need to do many things and use only white hate SEO techniques for this....

    Page rank major factor back links and visits, quality back link can give you page rank. so building more and more back links to your website.
