Robots Should Follow And Index Right

    Hey

    On my posts I have an option to have Meta Robots Follow Or No Follow And Index Or No Index. I want them to follow and index, correct?

    If you leave it blank i.e haven't set anything in meta than search engine will index and follow.

    Ok but it has an option to click and I can choose index or no index and then follow or no follow. But what I'm saying is that I should be choosing index and follow correct? That's what the default setting is.

    Also, is my robots.txt file ok? My domain is wegotthiscovered. com

    "index, follow" is fine if you want your post to be indexed and if you want to follow the links in that particular page.

    Yes it should be set to FOLLOW if you want your pages to be listed in Google that is..

    If you need search engine traffic then you must allow the crawler to Index your pages
    Second, on your pages if you want crawler to follow the links then it should be set to dofollow
    between, setting Internal links to dofollow is a good option... but, we can't say the same about external links

    dont need to explicitly mention dofollow or doindex. They are by default so.

    yes, You need them to follow and Index both..Follow will make PR flow to that link, Index will make Crawler crawl it.

    Yeah.. that's the standard option for post, "index" and "follow". Be careful about these options, if you do mistake then your website won't be indexed forever.
