i am doing seo for one site last 8 months i complete directory posting above 1000,classified also i post more articles also weekly one posting,forums, facebook, twitter social bookmarking also i am using ...but one level after i did not get more visitor and back links ....my question is how to move next level to improve my visits and backlinks....any seo specialist help me thanks in advance....

Build links through blog commenting, forum posting, blog posting(submit posts at free blogging sites), create squidoo lens, google knol etc.

 

Try article directory submissions, buy blog posts, write press release and submit it, exchange links with another design sites...

 

well if you are having designing and development website then i do not think that its too tough to rank it well in various search engines.if you are properly working with off page and i think you need to check your On Page.

Web Design is a though niche 1 year time frame and real work to get decent rankings ...

 

I would recommend running a interesting Web Development/Design Blog along side your website. Providing your take on new technologies, tutorials (using common sence you can see that the most searched web design related terms are people looking on how to learn or learning new skills rather than looking for web design companies), tools, top 10 lists etc all related to web development and design (photoshop, fireworks, logo design, graphic design, javascript, php, css, html, html5, jquery, etc etc)

I would then work on pushing these blog posts, creating some hype about them (Gather a twitter/facebook following over time), social bookmarking them. You can do the occasional guest blog post with links back to your own in a respected web blog. Ping your blog, rss feed etc.

If your content is good enough, these blog posts will act as link bait for natural links to occur. If you write a great, useful article that is bookmarked by web developers etc, you can find yourself getting hundreds if not thousands of backlinks to that post.

Now I know you want your actual business to rank, but by having a blog on your website, it is a good way of bringing in traffic, gaining PR and overall domain trust. This will help all your pages under that domain to rank better too.

 

work on your sites page and check your site pages is index if not then work on them and try to more back links on your sites.....

Your problem is probably on page as 'jacuzzi' mentioned. I have pages in Google's top 10 with no links and no page rank just because the on page work has been carried out better than by competitors.

Well it depends on how smartly you have done it for being more and more effective for your site. I agree that niche like this will certainly take atleast a year to have proper, regular and genuine visits. Regarding backlinks, I should start finding some high rated blogs in your niche and try to do some genuine blog commenting. You an even buy some of the links for a month or 3 to see the results. Make sure you are doing cross bookmarking in all the social networking sites and dont just post the page to the bookmarking sites. Make atleast 10 friends daily in all the networking sites and keep sending them votes and diggs for their posted bookmarks. I am sure you will have an increase in the traffic if you apply the rule of, 'I comment/vote for you and you do the same for me'

I think you should go for other link building tactics also like do follow blog commenting,guest blogging,Press release,video submission etc.

 

I mentioned this earlier in the thread but perhaps not clearly enough.

It's the common line of those inexperienced in SEO to say links, links, links! But you have already spent a great deal of time building links which suggests something else is wrong.

Either:
a) the links you have built are wrong
b) there are on-page problems

In a great deal of the work I do it is the page itself that is the problem. So if you have 100 good links that say "cheap holidays" pointing to your site, but Google is not convinced your site is about "cheap holidays" they are all wasted.

Here's an example. It used to be that if you Googled "miserable failure" you would go to George Bush's home page. That was because lots of links mentioning "miserable failure" pointed there. For this reason Google changed things so any page must also be recognised for being about "miserable failure" before the links count.

Don't go wasting more time on link building until you know your on-page seo is correct. It will just be more time wasted.
