Success with Amazon aStore?

I'm sure there are some in here who are having success with their Amazon aStore, but sadly I'm not one of them. Yet.

So are there any special tips or techniques you would recommend?

More sales from direct and basic links than from astore

 

There's just too much competetion now and it's hard to fight for natural organic se placement will all the other clones.

 

I haven't made a dime. What a waste of time and space it is.

I gave it a try and didn't make anything.. I didn't try very hard so haven't touched it since..

 

I don't think you'll have much success with aStore unless you already have a bunch of traffic. The way things are currently setup, your aStore isn't likely to showup in any search engines. (unless you do some fancy proxy work on your web server)

 

Would anyone be interested in an aStore Directory where you could enter the URL and description of your aStore / WebSite for anyone to see? You could then see reviews / comments / popularity of various aStores as well as track most popular items across various aStores.

I can build it if there is enough interest.

I am interested. My aStore is running quite well. I set it up on September 21st and it generated 36 orders so far. Its related to a video game series and therefore the ordered products arent that expensive so i get like nothing in referral fee. the 4% is really bad.

Only good thing is it ranks on #2 on google when searching for "Resident Evil Store"

 

AStore is a great idea, and probably much better than the individual product links we had before. But like you guys, mine hasn't been that successful as of yet. A new version of the store is around the corner though, and it promises to give us even more flexibility...
