Is market samurai worth it?

I purchased market sumaria to do keyword research and backlinks but now i am beganing to wonder if it was actually worth it or not, anyones thoughts about this please

 

I had the same thoughts as you, whydsuck. I signed up for Wordtrackers keyword tool but after a while ditched it and now only us the Google Adwords tool. I find it just as good. However, I still use Raven Tools to help me with my linkbuilding.

Market Samurai, is just a tool and is only useful if the user knows both how the tool operates, and how to interpret the data it gives.

The instructional videos that come with MS are among the best I have seen anywhere, learning how to use it should be no problem.

MS uses data it draws from Google, which you can get from Google for free, but it does lay out the data in a nice graphical way that makes it easier to understand at a glance.

MS does, of course, offer much more than just a keyword research tool, and is constantly being added to at no extra cost.

The biggest pain with MS is an update nearly every time you use it, this is very tedious, but might be more to do with Adobe Air updates, than the program itself.

 

I think that Market Samurai is THE BEST keyword research tool out there. I used to go to 15 diferent website in order to get all the information I needed. But now with Market Samurai, everything is done for me and within a few seconds.

I have to say that it is quite complicated to use but once you get used to it, you'll be amazed at all the options that you have.

If you're having trouble with it, they give instructional videos on their website under the "dojo" section. It explains everything about the program that you need to know very clearly and step by step. It is by far the best instructional videos I have ever seen.

Conclusion is, Market Samurai is worth every single penny that you invest in it.

 

It's very worth it if you want to see what your competitors are doing and such.

 

I have MS, and it is a good tool for is other functions. However, if you want to do keyword research exclusively, then I suggest you use Keyword Sniper Pro. Read the sales letter to find out why it's superior to MS.

For keyword research it uses Google's keyword toll so you can probably get the same data from their free tools, MS just speeds that up IF you do a lot of keyword research. But like mentioned for keywords alone there are better tools. But for analyzing the data it's good, I like the Rank Checker (you don't only have to use it on your domains) and SEO Competition modules. There are probably tools that do a better job in certain areas, but as an all around tool with a one time payment it's hard to beat.

I have to agree with those who say it is worth it to use Market Samurai. It is a great keyword tool b/c it is allows you to get alot more info. than you can get using tools like the Google Keyword Tool such as estimated cost per click (if you use PPC advertising). There are many more though. I also agree with the person who said that the tool is only as good as your knowledge of how to use it. I would definitely say to go through any video tutorials and learn how to use the software to the ultimate. That will get you the most information to grow your business and make the money you spent on the tool then an investment.
