By renaming your domain, I hope you mean buy another, you can't just re-name a domain like a file on your computer.

I don't get fooled that easly, i have read it 2-3 weeks ago on godaddy, just that i can't find where, there was a service of 6 $ for renaming. Just that i don't know if i will loose my rankings in this case, that's why i am asking.

if you want to change your domain name you will need to htaccess redirect all your files on your old domain in order to keep your old links

    You have a domain.
    You buy a new domain.
You permanently redirect the old domain to the new one.

ANSWER: No you won't lose your rankings.

First of all, its not possible to rename a domain name and if you buy another domain and use it in place of first, it will definitely lose its rankings.
