No Google will sued you only if you link back to them. They count on who you link to because this thing is under your control. You cannot control who linked to you. Sxperm
They can affect your site in one way. If they link to http:// yoursite . com and http:// www. yoursite . com then Gooole will see this as two seperate sites - then they may penalise you for duplicate content. Put a 301 permanent redirect on your non-www site in your .htaccess
I refuse to use windows for hosting. Only thing I will use windows for is for surfing and emails LOL. I'm sure you feel the same way
Exactly. I really hope Linux makes the next jump into the mainstream desktop so we can finally rid ourselves of windoze.
windows are too good to resist. Linux cannot stand in front of windows. don't think it like the professional think. With common man's point of view. you lug in your camera on usa port. Windows do all the stuff and you will see you pics on your desktop. And that's the only reason why windows are not safe. because they do lot of work automatically. As professional you can do this work yourself. But a layman can't do that. Windows are going to rule all the way.
Yes, according to Aaron Wall of SEOBook, it can affect your rankings because of the implementation of the TrustRank algorithm. You should check out his article here: http://www.search-marketing.info/newsletter/articles/trustrank-company.htm Also, msn editors take a look at your backlinks if you have been penalized and are looking to get reincluded in msn's index so it may affect you in that case also.
You don't want a link from FFA because they sell you email address to spammers and you get low quality inbound link that can hurt your trust.
My site use to be like that about 3 years ago so I also used a 301 redirect and have used it all the time since.
If this was possible..... i will put my competitors site link on bad sites so they get bad incoming links.... but unfortunately google doesnt do anything for bad incoming links.
Here you go, the, htaccess content: RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^*******\.com RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.*******.com/$1 [R=permanent,L]
I'll have to try that on my site. I know that there are some ffa links to a few of my sites, but I don't link to any of them.
