I need to add this DP Forum (forums.digitalpoint.com) so that I can track all AdSense revenues from this site, along with other sites.

Create the channel, and then enter the channel ID in your user panel under "Edit Options".

 

Just creat a channel, Name it to DigitalPoint. Then get any adcode for this channen and you will find the channel ID there. Copy that and in your control panel at DP go to edit optin and paste it.

Do I have to add the Channel ID in DP or the AdSEnse pub-ID in DP ?

 

The easy way is just to create a block of text ads on a specific channel - the one you create in adsense for DP. Then, PASTE and READ the code in a plain text reader. The code will have the number of the channel listed. It's a long number. Paste that number into the proper field of the DP channel ID input in your profile. (in the DP user CP)

 

I just checked my AdSense account in Channels - but there is nothing like "Channel ID" - then how to get Channel ID ?

 

I would highly suggest that you read what's been posted, pausing between words, if necessary. If you still can't get it after careful re-reading, this may be too advanced of a task for you.
