These are usually catchy and people love to avoid mistakes. 4. Make your content valuable, unique, and easy to understand. Try to keep the reader interested so that they will want to share your link. 5. Use spell and grammar checks for your articles. Bad spelling can give a bad impression and scare readers away. 6. Use websites like Squidoo, Tumblr, and Hubpages to post your content. Include links to your website. 8. Guest blog on other websites that are related to your niche. Include your link in the comment or attached to your profile name. 10. Use popular forums to discuss topics with others and include your website links in your signature. 11. Create an e-mail list. Offer something free or helpful and have readers subscribe by e-mail. You will have the ability to send ALL of these subscribers useful information and links back to your website. 12. Share an article you have written on Facebook. If you have a lot of friends or fans, then you will receive more attention and “likesâ€. 13. Tweet your latest article or talk about your website and why people should visit it. Include a link in the tweet or on your profile page. 14. Make a great YouTube video(s) and include your link in the video description. You can also include your website on your profile page. 15. Use social bookmarking tools to share your latest article, news, or video. Websites like Digg, StumbleUpon, and Reddit are great places to start. 16. This usually works best for businesses or news providers because a press release is basically an announcement of news to the public. Review a new product or a product that has never been reviewed before and talk about it on your website. 27. Review products on Amazon and include your link as a reference. 28. Let them know you are looking for someone to help with your SEO and to build a large amount of high quality links. You can post your “Wanted†ad at forums such as DigitalPoint and Warrior Forum. 34. Buy or rent high quality links. There are many services online that offer backlinks for a set fee. 35. Give away a useful book or service for FREE. If you can create a cool ebook and offer to give it away for free, then you will be able to have your website and links shared easily. If you receive positive reviews, those people will talk about it and your ebook will become more popular. Include your website and a list of helpful links in the ebook. 36. Release a WordPress plugin and include your website link in the description. 37. Go viral. DMOZ and other directories are basically like the Yellow Pages for the internet. It is a massive directory divided up into categories so that you can find websites.
