I made this little page and I hope it´s useful. Of course it has some ads because I intend to win some money from it but It has to be useful.

Update: I could open it now with a proxy. Which hosting service do you use?

 

It works for me, it's not the site I personally like but your banner text is half cut off.

 

The home page is all filled with links and ads. I think some content on the home page will be good. The colors look decent

 

Can you send me a screenshot? I see it with no problems.

 

HostGator. The domain was created yesterday, maybe the DNS still doesn´t propagate to you.

 

Well, it´s a "home page style" site. It´s hard to add content without having to scroll through the site. The only spot I can think of is right of the news, but I don´t know what kind of content I could add there.

I see an empty prime area in your page.

Its a great idea, but I feel it's a bit monotone, there needs to be more diversity to attract my attention to specific items on the page.

 

Thanks for the tips. I will try implementing a more attractive scheme along with little graphics for each section to make the page more attractive.

 

I will try moving google to the small empty spot and add something more attractive. What could it be?

 

Well, just finished working on the page again... It looks quite different now, please take a look at it and tell me what you think. Still some things to do and some spots to fill but I think it looks better now.

 

I think it is a great improvement, but there is still so much more you could do. Like someone else has said add more color.

 

I added a few images to see if it it looks better. Is it nice now? I still have to set up an image rotator for every image so it looks fresh on every visit.

 

I would work on a cleaner layout. Start with a simple traditional layout. You could desing it on paper first to get an idea of how it will look, then ask people you know to look at the desing for feedback.
