Rules Infraction from a post made in 2007

    Why why I given an infraction on a post made from 2007? I belive it's stupid to infraction on something really old and the post was allowed back in that period

    That sucks! But like Shawn says: infractions go away over-time. And as I read it you're probably having this infraction only, if you would have more you should check what's wrong haha :)

    yes, but mods wont penalize you if they think it is not appropriate. You can complain if you are sure you are 100% correct according to forum rules.
    It is not like infractions can't be given on old threads, the opening post complains about an infraction which is given on a thread which WAS ALLOWED at that time. thats the point.

    It doesn't matter when or why you break the rules, what matters is the fact that you did break the rules, regardless of when you did it. While it may be annoying to receive an infraction for a very old post, sometimes it's often very useful too so you can know to improve on your posting next time. And if you're not a persistent offender, the infraction won't matter to you too much since it will normally go away after around 3-6 months. :)

    Thats pathetic... Rules change over time... The current forum rule may not necessarily apply on a thread made 4 years ago. Glad to know it got reversed.
