I would buy a profitable AdSense site, and maybe improve it or leave it alone.

 

Id startup a site like tradebit.com. better it for the seller, give them their own pages for them to market their product, give them more functionality. give the sellers what they want to have on a site like that. make money on all sales.

 

I would say either find a website which is already making a nice income monthly and buy it and make it better while investing in advertising to increase the revenue or say split in between shares/stock and websites

Well if I had this much money, I would buy half the amount of domains from PR2 to PR5 or even PR6 and then monetize them. The other 30% I would spend for link building and SEO of these domains, obviously with real and unique content. The rest which is 20%, I would spend in promoting and marketing those sites for selling links, adsense ads, banner ads or affiliate links and sit back and check my paypal balance rise, everyday

However the fact is I dont have that money

You have to check it thoroughly by various methods before buying the domains, one such way is to check on : checkpagerank.net

 

I would find 3 investments that only need $1000.

I think this way you'll have a bigger profit in the long term and there's also a little bit of room for failure cause you'll never know of it until you're in one.

 

I would either keep saving or do some affiliate marketing.

My dream is to own a poker site(like pokerstars)...So I'd invest into starting up one of those. I know it most-likely won't cover all the costs, but It would be a good start.

 

I would invest it in gold.

If not, i would also invest it in the stock markket.

 

I would buy 100 shares of CSCO at $16.90 and 30 shares of AKAM at $39.60 and spend the rest.

 

If you wish to use the money to build an Internet Business you really need to look for an successful Internet marketeer to coach you.

It beats buying a lot of the stuff out there and getting bogged down with information overload.
