Try PaidToClick, you need to pay $5 and normally you'll get 500 hits

If you're looking for quality traffic then there's no easy way to get it. Real traffic takes time to generate. You can try blogging on something your good and relate it to your site. Try SEO, email marketing, and word of mouth. Try joining groups on linkedin, facebook, etc. If your selling products and need to video advertise them, you can try 123exchanges.com. Good luck

there is a super easy way to get free traffic and that is through "Traffic Exchange". Try trafficswarm and linkreferral, the two most popular traffic exchange in the planet. But of course you will not get targeted traffic from this type of method. The best way is to add content, fresh content actually!

I get most of my traffic from traffic exchange sites where you get credits for looking at other websites to have your website viewed .

Do you find that the traffic converts as customers or successful with adsense etc? How many uniques a day to you get from doing this and does it take much of your time?

I agree, it is a culmination of hours of hard work and being inventive and using current affairs to drive your social media relevance.
For example, a current event like a ballgame or religious holiday could be combined with your niche to make a great timely and relevant post for some fresh content.
Try using something "of the moment" with your existing content and you will have a fresh content mash.
    Just my two cents...

...what about just a simple joint venture? Technically it would be considered 'backlinking'...but with a recommendation. Additionally, have you explored advertising in quality (topic specific) ezines?
