    Dear Sirs,

I am Doctor of Medicine and surgery, I wrote an ebook discussing medical issue and treatment of obesity. I want to sell it online via click bank. What should I do ? can you please tell me step by step. Would it be easy to get affiliates.

    Thanking you

I think you should pre-test your ebook first before putting it in CB to find out its conversion, so that if the conversion sucks you can improve what's neccessary.

    1. Read clickbank's documentation thoroughly

    2. Build or Have Built a Website Sales Page and the Thankyou Page per Clickbank's rules.

    3. Submit for approval.

    4. Test your site with real traffic for conversion rates

    5. Announce your results with proof to affiliates

That's usually the main list of need-to-do's

If you don't have any traffic to play with now you have to either buy it or build it.

www.google.com/adwords is the pick of the pros if you want to buy it.

If you want to build it- article submissions, blogs, and lots of dedicated work.

You will find out that you have to be a good marketer to be a good vendor. Thousands and Thousands of decent products go by month after month with no sales and drown themselves out. Only the few that are marketed well go on to become successful products.

I think the result is the main point here.. You probably have to test it out and set up a website sale page first before you can get approval from clickbank. I heard some other affiliate networks are a little better promoting ebook so you might want to look into that as well. Best of luck!

    Valuable advice there ^

In simple words, writing the book is actually 10% of the work I'd say. I'd be happy if I'm proved wrong :)

    Also, wait for dlm's advice.

It is pretty easy, you just need to apply and clickbank will give you all the instructions on what you need to do to get it setup, such as paying the $50 up front fee and setup thank you pages, and so on.

First register at clickbank dot com as a vendor and offer a good commission percentage to people who sell it so more number of people promote it.

Then approach other people with websites ranking high for some keywords that people might search related to your ebook and contact those web owners and ask them to put your banner or link to your sales page in return for a commission.

Also publish some articles to ezine directories and also pay some money to ezine list owners who will have a huge list of email address who are interested in your product. Find ezine directory related to your product.

Sorry if my post will discourage you or anything but as someone else already said: Product creation is only 10% of the job. This means that if you done your research and found a hungry market looking for a product that have little to no competition and created a great product that people will want to spend money on, then (if you done all this) you will be at only 10% of the job.

Note: "discussing medical issue and treatment of obesity" dosent sounds an interested topic, people want things like "how to loose 10 pounds of fat in 10 days" type of topics. they spend money because they want results - and not to recieve a book that will speak about medical treatments.

Additionally, the "Fat Loss" market is one of the thoughest out their and if you dont have GREAT MARKETING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE your chances are dim to say the least.(I have seen Experts with years of experience creating great products in the FAT Loss market and still failed miserably)

Sorry to disapoint you, but "writing a book and try to market it" instead of "finding a market and write a book for it" is always the worst way to go. Bundle this with zero marketing experience and maybe its better if you try publishing it on Amazon or something like that.

    Good Luck!

Your points are valid but I'm a believer that he (or anyone else) can become successful in any market they choose IF they devote every drop of their time and passion into the project And Pursue the dream until it becomes a reality.

Gods honest truth is that most people want out more than they put in. Most people want to do things the easy way. Most people are pumping quarters into the slot machine hoping to hit the jackpot.

Once one realizes that they will usually get out what they put in, success becomes a possibility.

Ask any successful person how hard they worked to make it happen. None of them will tell you it was easy

Niche like this is very iffy. You can run in to a lot of trouble if the advice that people take from you is causing them serious health issues.

I am a doctor and contradictorily surgeon too. I am sure I can advice them better.
As per diva, I gone through all click bank resources and working on my product as well. I don't know the results of my eBook (I mean selling) but I am sure I will remember your help and guidance towards me.

Personally I would look for someone already experienced in product launching to help you. As many already stated the actual product is very little of the work compared to marketing it, but you might be able to work out a deal with someone who knows what they are doing already. Or else you are in for a lot of headaches and probably will give up before you see any return. If you do decide to do this though you'll likely get a lot of bogus offers, so make sure it's someone you trust after talking to.

Yes, I agree with your "neighborhood"
I have currently two people offering me to share 50/50 profit on the products. But I am afraid of copyright etc

Yep thats the main point, in theory, anyone can achieve anything if he is willing to work for it. For example, if the guy will ditch his product for a few years and start focusing on internet marketing and dedicate himself to learn the nuts and bolts, i see no reason why he will not have a chance to launch a successful product in any Markets he wishes. For instance, he might be able to launch a new Windows Competitor lol anything is possible if you are willing to work for it.. something not everyone is willing to do..

Trough my point was not about if its possible or not, but that its difficult to do what the guy appears to wants to do without any real experienc ein the experience. Miracles happen but are unlikely
