From the net, I do see some terms called "PLR articles" that they allow us to post to articles site, can we do that? Will my account get banned by article sites? Any idea? Please help. Thanks
Private Label Rights - PLR No they cannot be submitted to main article directory because the duplicate content issues. |You must completely rewrite or at least 75% re write it then submit. I would suggest you get a PLR article and use it as a template and create your own, remember google loves good quality content.
It depends on the terms and conditions of the article directory site. Some allow duplicate content and some require that the content is original. As long as the site terms and conditions do not require you to submit 100% original content, then you can do whatever you want with the PLR articles. What you can do for the sites that require original content is use the PLR content as the foundation and rewrite the article so that it retains the topic or meaning, but is completely rewritten. This means you don't have to start from scratch to create the article, but you also don't submit an article that isn't going to get published on the site anyway.
You can submit PLR Articles to some article directory sites, if they and the source of the PLR articles will allow it. Most of the time you won't be able to due to copyright and duplicate content issues. An option is to re-write the PLR articles and then post them to article directories.
Most of the larger and worthwhile article directories will remove your articles if they find that it is a PLR article, sites like Ezine Articles take active measures to ensure that the article is yours and doesn't belong to anyone else. If you are purchasing a pack of PLR articles that are a few years old then they have probably already been plastered all over the Internet so it won't give you much benefit in terms of article marketing. PLR articles should be seen as frameworks around which you can create your own content. You have a set of facts, figures and structure that makes re-writing much easier and is particularly useful if you don't have any idea what to write about. That said, you could compile the articles in to a PDF report, in an autoresponder or anywhere else where you are not using them for SEO or AdSense / commission purposes. Peter
some say dublicate content penalisation is a myth due to the fact they cannot say who published it first - It is not looked on as well as unique content obviously but you should not be penalised.
