    Hi guys,

    myfreefilehosting.com sold for $11,000. Now I want to sell myfreefilehosting.net. Some guy has just offered to pay $500 but my guts tells me nothing less than a $1000.

    What do you guys think?

    A lot of times domain sales are impulses. There's nothing that say's myfreefilehosting.com was even worth the sales price, just that there was one person willing to pay it.
    If you hold it too long based on the sale of another domain, you may find yourself with nothing in a few weeks.
    IOW, you only paid $10. Strike while the iron is hot. It's hot today. Next month's buyer may look at you as if you are nuts if you ask for even $200.
    There is nothing that says interest in this domain will last just because another sold for a decent price one day.

    Perhaps you two could trade. Your domains appear to have similar value ; )

    Lolllllllllll!

    @TS,
    I would counter the $900 offer with $999 and then accept whatever the bidder adds to $900.

    You should sell your .net now while you have interest due to the .com sale.

    The buyer's making offers are confused, the actual intrinsic value of your .net domain is actually falling now because a good chunk of any benefits from content or advertising you invest in will accrue to the .com domain owner. The more you or any buyer try to promote the .net domain the more the .com domain owner benefits. A .net isn't going to get any traffic from the .com name recognition, if someone remembers the domain name from efforts on the .net, half of the traffic will go to the .com and if there is a site there they keep the traffic. Only when the .com is empty is there a chance the person will keep looking and find the .net. Anyone would be better off buying a .com of their own where they get all the returns of their investments.

    Sell why you can, that is my opinion.

    @TS, so what's up? For how much you sold it? :D Srsly, if someone offers you 900$ for that domain, take the money!
    I sold bid88.com for 200$, but I had no idea why buyer was paying so much, so I just gave him.
