How effective is Amazon affiliate on Blogger/ Blogspot?

Any insights?

I am thinking of starting several niche websites using blogger. Will this be effective as setting up your own independent website for Amazon affiliate?

i used blogger to promote amazon product, write your own review it niche!. it can make more money and traffic!

 

I've been experimenting with it now for a decent while, and have not had a whole lot of success. Eventually I will, I suppose.

 

Blogger is good platform to promote Amazon products, But you need to post unique content regularly.

 

Posting unique content is not a problem for me since I am a writer. But the question is, will people still buy from blogger (or click on your affiliate link) even if these are free websites and not authoritative, stand alone sites?

 

My good friend makes $2000-$3000/month advertising/reviewing ps3 games/hardware.

 

Is this on blogger alone?

 

It's never a good idea to use blogger for anything. You could put in a ton of work, only to have your blog deleted by google, at their own whim. You don't need to have done anything wrong - they can remove your blog any time they like. So why add lots of unique content, build backlinks etc. to a site you never really control? You're much better off buying a domain and getting your own hosting.

 

And getting your own amazon online store with built-in shopping cart.

You could use blogger to build good backlinks, but make sure you have a self-hosted website for your Amazon products. If you pin your hopes on blogger, big G could be pull the rug from under your feet just like that.

blogger is great platform to make money from amazon..but its need to update quality content every day..

I currently have few Blogger blogs to promote Amazon products. Blogger is a good platform if you update it regularly with unique content, but in the long term I would suggest to buy your own domain and hosting because Google could delete your Blogger blog easily for ridiculous reasons

 

Even after writing unique content you have to work hard to get the SEO right. There is no substitute for hard work when it comes to affiliate marketing. You will not get traffic without proper work.

I think blogger is a good starting point have many bloggers set up for amazon and clickbank products and they seem to be somewhat easy to rank for just pick your keyword as your blogspot name and it will rank once you get some good consistent content. So yes you CAN make money this way, but like anything else its all in what you put into it.

 

I use blogger only to build some links to my amazon affiliate site. I suggest you do too.
You can never trust it when you don't own your business. (your domainname..)
