Here's my question: If I put Yahoo Search Box on my site, does it work like Google Search? I mean do I get payed for clicks generated by search? Same question for Y!Q. Thanks.
It is now late-september and they still havnt allowed people outside US. Any ideas when they might consider doing this? Rob
Yahoo say you need: ... a valid U.S. Social Security or Tax ID number, and web site content that is predominantly in English and targeted at a U.S. user base... As far as I know, you don't need to live in the United States to get a Tax ID number. Has anyone outside the U.S. has got hold of a tax number and joined YPN?
Not me personally, but I've heard of people registered a company in the USA. (you'll get a tax number) then registered the company with YPN.
Individuals can also apply for a U.S. tax number. For example, if you open a brokerage account with a U.S. stock broker, you'll need a tax number. If I remember rightly - maybe I don't, so anyone interested would need to check for themselves - you need to complete a W-7 form: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw7.pdf
So when will they allow all of the public to be able to use their publisher services? I'm building a very large website and i would really like to use yahoo publisher. -C
A repeated question to get any update When will non-USA webmasters be allowed in? From Yahoo: We hope to do this in 2006. 2006 is about to be end only 2 months left, so any update?
can a link to the contact ypn page(if any) be included here in FAQ? or ypn email address for non yahoo publishers? I want to ask the above question to them.
