Hi, I'm quite new to SEO but I'm interested in learning. I also plan to set up my own SEO company in the future. From what I have heard, most people who run SEO companies will pay people to write articles for them, use software to replicate similar articles and post them on various blogs around the web. Apparently they also have bought various IP addresses, probably to show as if traffic from various parts of the world are flowing to his website. Am i right to say that this is how seo companies work? What should I do to start my own? What softwares should I use? Thanks a lot
There are certain procedures that you need to follow to do SEO of any website.there is no need to use any software as sometimes they gives quite wrong results. http://www.webconfs.com/15-minute-seo.php Refer this link might help you.
Nice. It si always appreciated to be an entrepreneur than an emplyee. Definitely they should pay. No one will give you free articles. Spinning article is not a recommended SEO trick. Google may devalue the link. Here you can purchase a paid proxy server.
Thanks for your replies. I do admit I may be a noob when it comes to SEO but im here to learn. After all none of you were born knowing seo! Ok now I know that what i described is called "article spinning" and it's not how seo companies work. So how do the good ones work?
There are a great number of SEO services in the field, providing people with tailored SEO services to meet different needs. Usually, they are able to provide a whole range of online marketing solutions, including off-page marketing, on-page marketing, PPC, SEO, email marketing, etc. If you are new to the field, it is impossible be excel in different areas whithin short time. So, just focus on one aspect and try to be outstanding in this area, then you could expand your service range gradually.
Spinning Articles is a way to trick Google. Google hates duplicate content, so the alternative is spinning articles. You should always think: would Google like me doing this? And if not, just don't do it, or you'll bend over to the black hat side of SEO. First start by studying EVERYTHING about SEO, and I do mean EVERYTHING. Bookmark websites like seochat, seomoz, searchenginewatch, searchengineland and so on. Try and setup your own site, within a well chosen niche (when I say well chosen, I mean kind of long tail, to start with). Be patient, tweak your website(s) and you'll learn while doing it. SEO is a process of falling and getting up. If you do want to recreate your articles, just rewrite them yourself, yes I know it takes more time, but I'm sure google will find out sooner or later how to track spun articles. So far for the learning SEO part. I'm not self-employed, so all I can say, if you go on your own, make sure you are prepared for the traps. But actually, I don't think it's a good idea to go on your own right now, you should be an employer for a while, and learn from your colleagues, but that's my opinion. Otherwise, it's a leap into darkness.
You have got the wrong idea of how SEO works . In all probabilities you are referring to the teenage kids with misleading blogs who talk about softwares and stuff . Real SEO is a very complex art as well as a science . You need to understand the SE bots as well as the human psychology . There is tons or research and analysis involved , keyword brainstorming , market mapping , competitor analysis and a ton of other metrics . SEO is a multi million dollar industry and thousands of dollars are spent on it daily . Do you think the spender is foolish enough to not realize to buy the "softwares" himself instead of paying a hefty sum to a good SEO ? SEO goes far beyond softwares and a fixed set of rules . Doing SEO for every new site is like making a painting - new work / inspiration / efforts / time / strategy required every time for every site as the requirements vary from site to site . And I do agree with the above 2 replies of forum members - Do not discourage anyone ! He does not know , but he is brave enough to ask and that is a sign of a good entrepreneur . If you have nothing valuable to answer to him then don't laugh on him , rather don't reply at all .

Try not to use softwares at first, do manual work for a while and use softwares when it is clear to you the whole process of SEO.
People need to stop with "I'm going to make an SEO company". People seem to think its easy, not that much work, simple to learn, anyone can do it.... Wrong! SEO is all about the changing trends, keeping up to date, being original, knowing your technology and the internet. Knowing how peoples minds work etc. SEO isnt something you can just jump into. Its stupid to think you can learn about it then suddenly offer it as a service. You need experience and expert knowledge enough to answer almost any query related to SEO. I would recommend at least 2 years of learning + running projects for experience (Either for friends or family or local businesses for free) You can't just learn from a forum and then call yourself a professional....
Yeah, you got the general idea. Here 's the crude outline: Optimized content ---> Optimized page --> Optimized internal link structure --> A shitload of backlinks from other sites to your site (the most important step) --> Profit! Of course, the devil is in the details.
Yes, friends, you have to accumulate sufficient resources, outside the chain of resources, articles, resources, the best long-term, healthy development of resources
Thats right and it is also said that content is king, but be aware of the plagiarism, it can let you down before you even know
