We all now that comments are important and Google wants them on your blogs, article directories etc... Question is what is the best solution to go for? Facebook social comment plugin, your own php comment module or maybe other plugins available out there?
Just make sure to maintain the quality of your comments. Spam doesn't help much and can actually be detrimental.
Go for your own PHP module , coz the IP addresses in the commenter names is what tells the search engines to differentiate the content from the article body . If you use other plugins and especially facebook comments then the module will serve parsed text will be served as javascript and that is not possible to index properly by the search engines . In most cases the default WP comments module is a very robust one , I agree it looks a little 'uncool' but that can be managed with a little bit of CSS .
you must go with an php module because it not only allows you to monitor the comments but also it gives the other information about users like email ids, name etc. Moreover you must only approve those comment which are just relavant to your blog post or page.
As long as you are getting the comments you need, it will not matter. The content of your comment is the most important. Write with quality content and it will prevent your post to be penalized as a spam. Of course, comments must be related to what the blog is all about. That is why confirmation must be done first before revealing the comment to the general public.
Personally, I do not use plugins. On Blog commenting,my only recommendations is that you add value to the blog. You must not spam or comment anything that is not related to the topic. You can use blog search so that you can find a niche that is related to your site or interests.
Comments are not that much important. Important thing is your content.. But you can use social media to increse your blog visitors.
I suggest using the Facebook's comment plugin. It multiples your presence. Whenever someone comments on your blog... the comment & the URL will be displayed on his Wall to all of his friends. Isn't that amazing?
Good question I might of miss wrote on this one Overall opinion in a day where google is using not just bots to check quality of sites i think it is really crucial to engage users to comment on what you write.
The ideal situation would be to use your own module, so that in the event some 3rd party module crashes (as they often do), your site won't be affected.
blog commenting is a very helpfull technique for SEO, but you are commenting very carefully on the blogs read thoroughly the blog ,and then reply a good comment
Correct. I Think whoever goes for Blog Commenting, he needs to know properly what exactly a Blog is. For such maniac, my 1 cent-> What about commenting with your spaming URL at Google's blog?
1)Do not do spam in your comment . 2)Make a point and determine your motivation. 3)Link carefully. 4)Keep it short and be respectful. 5)Proofread.
