    Hello,

My website is not shown in Google. I'm using URL rewriting, and the landing page is http://bit.ly/evFE4A. Is this a problem?

    Thanks

    Please correct your robots.txt file,

remove the "/" from second line which is stopping it with crawling.

After correcting robots.txt you may put this website url in your DP signature, submit a article in Ezine, bookmark it in stumble, digg, delicious share it with facebook and twitter.

Also while submissions and sharing you should put the url http://www.artibits.com/home .

    Hope it works.

This has nothing to do with the sitemap read the query properly .
@Spicemint - Don't use URL rewrite , atleast on the homepage . As far as possible keep the homepage static and the rewritten and dynamic URLs can be a link on that page like a category page or a pillar post .

You can do a site search in google, to see exactly which pages it has indexed.

    The syntax is

    site: DOMAIN.COM

make sure you check the www subdomain as well.

    site:WWW DOMAIN COM
