    Just got 1 so far... and 1 active, they issued it against some 'Wrong category' thing

    between, i am waiting for it to expire asap as i don't like my profile page with 'Infractions' tab!

    I got 7 infractions & i just signed up not to long ago. For some reason after i paid for the membership they started to give me infractions. If possible i would like some answers to this.

    Coincidental. There definitely is no correlation about getting (or not getting) infractions based on if a user is a premium member.

    Update: just got another Infraction!

    Surprisingly, this one is again for the same reason 'thread started in wrong category'

    Finally, i have made my mind to stop starting new threads until i get myself clear of these 2 Infractions first

    I don't have any infractions, and I tend to keep it that way. Well, I have one infraction. But it was reversed because the staff member who gave it made a mistake. And I'm glad they held their hands up to it and got it removed for me. :)

    Why is it good (do you think), to have more infractions? They gain you nothing but negative popularity and staff members watching you more often.

    Well, its not "good" to have infractions.
    My popularity doesn't really matter considering I pretty much got screwed out of making a living online anyway.

    Its just an interesting topic of conversation.

    I got one today. I posted in general chat, asking people to check out a contest post of mine and vote for it. Had no idea I can't do it, and not sure what exactly the infraction is for. Maybe someone can tell me?

    And what are the consequences of infractions?

    "Reason: Inappropriate / Disallowed Post". This is one of the reasons I see in my acc. But most of the time this official reason is irrelevant.
    Usually I can't guess what I did to get an infraction. Then I have started to think that there must be some problematic persons who like to give the infractions randomly.
    However I never have enough luck to collect random 68 points. Most probably you are making someone angry or break the rules as digitalpoint said.
    This is like Adsense rules which are told to the banned users. But those users will never know what are the real rules like you here.

    Mostly becouse of "duplicate thread"

    Example if I want to sell my website and 2 month later alot of the website changed and I can't edit the thread again so I make a new thread.

    I have 3 infractions, and + 1 today, so 4 total, *I don't know the reason for my last infraction, (Inappropriate / Disallowed Post) can I see that post ? to not make mistakes in the future...
