My friend is banned and he told me to question this. Please answer that. I am telling here what happened. 1. bookm had bought a site from him. The site was www.autobux.com an e-book selling site. He bought it for 270$. 2. He was a little bit n00b and didn't know how to promote the site. But he bought it. He gave him some tips, all site files, domain transfer and everything. 3. He kept telling that people wants payment proof, so, after implementing the method I myself gave him the payment proof. 4. 1 Month there was nothing from him. Now 7th march we saw a despute in paypal saying that not as described. He earned 120$ from the site and he wants back 150$ at least. 5. The site was priced 300$, but he hadn't paid 30$ in 1.5 months. He told us he will pay that after adversal pays him. .....Now we gave him payment proof of paypal that we actually sold the amount we told. And if he is a n00b and don't know how to earn money from the site. My question is, Is he allowed to do what he is doing? Charging back after using the site for 1 month? Don't know how to sell things and putting the guilt on us? Please answer. If I find answers for my side he should stop what is he doing.
dont worry most probably paypal wont reverse it for digital goods. A paypal dispute for digital goods is as good as dead If you still wanna be cautious withdraw money from your PP. _
i get what youre saying. youre saying you sold an ebook site to a newbie who used the site for 1 month. then he got a refunded or requested one from you because he didn't make much money. youre asking is that right? is it right that he got a refund from paypal for a site that he used for 1 monh. i say NO WAY. It's on him if he didn't promote the site right. you gave him the site, thats what was promised and thats it. or did you sell him the site and promise revenue? If you sold the site AND promised revenue then it was up to you to make sure that revenue happened. if paypal already gave the money back, then act quick and contact them telling them it was a website, an intangible good. if it was a chargeback from a credit card then you need to give as much proof as possible to paypal in order for paypal to dispute the chargeback. I have had chargebacks in the past and paypal has disputed them for me and only 1 time ever did they get my money back, it was months later. so don't count on getting your money back. i'd post his info on scam sites to make sure it doesnt happen to anyone else. he used your site, he maybe even stole the template/code or copied the ftp and made his own site on the dl. not cool good luck with paypal
