What to enter in "Purpose for Withdrawl" ?

I have a Indian paypal account and my question is that what do i need to enter in "Purpose for Withdrawal"
Can i select any option while withdrawing?

 

Yes basically you can select any option.
But most of the people select "Advertising and Market Research" option.

 

Just select the appropriate option.

I generally use the option "Software Consultant" while withdrawl.

 

Select freelance journalism if you want.

 

While withdrawing, I guess there is nothing to mention as a reason. I dont get this option in my part of the world. Yes the first time I had to give the reason to my local bank, after the paypal payment arrived. I gave the reason as personal or travelling, dont remember now.

 

Yes honey, my local bank asked for the first transaction I did, later on they never asked me. Actually I was amazed too as why would they require a reason, however they said, its a Government policy as whatever money comes in dollars have to be scrutinized, weird, isnt it? Well, I stay in China

 

Can't comment about the PayPal's withdrawal rules for China but, for India you have to select a reason for withdrawal every time you withdraw money from PayPal to your local bank account, as far as 'which option to select' is concerned - you can select any option which best suits the services you offer...
