It's so hard to find a merchant account provider with low number of complaints. Most of them place your hard-earning money on hold for 6 months or suspend your account considering it as a high risk. Anybody aware of a good provider?
the guidelines I've heard from experienced marketers - unless you are making more the $50,000/month in revenue, PayPal is just fine... you think different?
Any idea on which CREDIT CARD PROCESSING COMPANIES , used by the following FILE SHARING COMPANIES? oron.com filesonic.com duckload.om hotfile.com
Authorize.net is NOT a credit card processor, they are a Payment Gateway for cc and ACH They will refer you to several cc processors on their web site.
Paypal is just fine, and 50-100k +++/mo you want to look for different options. I know some people have tried AMEX Open, but with everything else there are fees associated (which usually are higher than paypal).
What sort of products/services are you referring to? Most US providers do not deal well with anything more than strait online retail.
I have been using Authorize.net for nearly 10 years. I don't have one complaint. I have a Wells Fargo merchant account. They are picky about accepting sites, but when your in your in. I bank there anyway so it is very convenient. I also have a recurring billing account with them too. They are a bit on the expensive side but no problems ever.
Yep, I would agree that combination of Authorize.net gateway and Wells Fargo account works well. Try that.

IF your merchant account is underwritten correclty (high risk is written as high risk) then you will not ahve any issues. Problems arise when either the merchant or the agent are not forth coming with correct information regarding their business, is wehn issues arise. When a merchant applies for a merchant account the issuing bank is actually extending credit to that merchant. That merchant has to show the means to repay any charge-backs, if not, then there will be reserves established or funds withheld.
