Just edit the header.php file and add your meta description there. Meta keywords are not used by very many search engines these days, so there is no real need in using them
Do you know if the SEO plugin also adds the Open Graph Protocol (http://ogp.me/) tags for Facebook sharing?
Yes, All In One SEO wordpress plugin is the best. but guy's is there any tip to solve canonical issue in All In One SEO Plugin. Cheers,
What issue are you referring to? It looked like it specified a canonical meta tag. Is it because Wordpress also specifies one? I saw someone's site with TWO canonical links.
If you installed All In One SEO plugin then there is option you can find the “canonical URLsâ€. I clicked on there but still my blog is with www and non-www version. I tried some canonical wordpress plugins too !! but still having the same problem. Cheers,
Canonical URLs just means it adds a tag <link rel="canonical" href="http://www.example.com" /> to your site. It lets search engines know which pages are similar in content. Your site, blogging for beginners, has this already. In theory it should fix the canonical problem without having to redirect.. but I'm not 100% on that. I wrote a blog article on the canonical link in the <head> tag of websites if you want to learn more.
http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=139394 It turns out, the canonical link I was talking about does fix your problem. The link I am posting has a video that explains this. the www .example. com and example.com will be the same thing if you add a <link rel="canonical" href="http://www.example.com" /> tag to both pages.
Download Platinum SEO Pack plugin (it's way better than all in one seo) and then set meta description/keywords for any pages.
I wouldn't edit the header file because then every page/post would have the same info. I used All-In-One SEO for ages, but recently changed most of my blogs over to Yoasts 'WordPress SEO' plugin because it includes a lot more features.
You Just need to Install one of the many SEO Plugins Provided in Wordpress and then Just put that on each page after activating the plugin.
