Selling Megainstaller.com - Auto script installation site 9 scripts added easy to add others

Hi,

I am selling my project that I recently started. www.megainstaller.com I wanted to develop it as a website that will automatically install scripts to client's servers. The user will enter their ftp details , mysql details and the script will be installed. I used Joomla for front end and a custom written script (unique) to power the installation process. I have added 9 scripts and it is easy to add more scripts. I have way too many sites to manage at the moment and I don't have the funds to promote this one. It has huge potential to develop if you have the time to promote this site. You can add more scripts and I will teach you how to add them using the current installation script. I can also discuss with you what my plans were to further develop the site. I think its a great domain name and a good idea.

If you have the funds but not the knowledge to promote this let me know as well as I am willing to partner up with someone who wants to invest this site.

Yes, you get all rights . There is one copy that I am using on livetvscript.com . Except this copy you get all the rights. Yes it can install when you give it ftp info. It will upload script and take you to the installation wizard of script. You can also configure it in a way such that it will even setup mysql database.

 

nice project, conecting to the remote server and transfering the files, then pointing to the install wizard is ok and fine, however how it will be able to setup database details on the remote server? looks every script will have different config procedures, so i guess is a little hard to do that if more scripts added.
can u explain this procedure?
also, what about chmod? does the script set the required permissions when transfering files? or does it has an admin panel on how to set each script?

i tried with a test ftp account and got some errors like browser frozen and upload broken, some scripts will launch the installer, some not
and also i got a mysql error when trying to install the 6th script saying it cant accept more than 5 connections from the same user, looks you have a limit there but it shows as a mysql error and not as a warning message which will look better.

anyway, are you available for some extra work? i guess even the project is interesting it still needs some coding like warnings to alert users not to leave the page or browse away when files transfering since it breaks the uploader, etc etc

finally, pls validate you own the domain and site, either via DP or by posting something refering to this thread in your site
since i have been scammed a few times and your last positive feedback is from 3 years ago, i would like to be sure all is ok

Thanks for your interest. Yes the configuration will be different for each script, you need to first look into the installation procedure on the script and then modify the script accordingly. More the variable that need to be set more configuration is required to setup the auto installer. I will definitely provide some examples on this. The script could definitely be tweaked as the site develops. But I am unable to continue the project due to the amount of work I currently have. I can however give you the contact info of the php developer who helped me develop the script. I can validate domain when the auction is over I feel too lazy atm.
