Not able to make Money from my well established forum.

Even though my Alexa rank is "120K" and PR1 I'm not able to make more than $40/month from adbrite.

My site is a hacking and security forums.So most of the Advertising sitrs don't accept.

Kontera sucks,infolinks rejected

And there is no other way to make more money.

Is there any way i can make $100+ a month ?

why dont you try to sell your ads space, start a thread at DP BST section

 

How much traffic are you getting per month and where does the traffic come from ?

your site is qulity well,my site that has making almost 9 months is not good and PR is 0.I feel so bad.

 

Why don’t you sell ad places at your forum. That would be best for you’re your forum. You can generate income as well.

 

You can do more!

1) Sell ads spaces
2) Upload Tutorial videos to youtube and try to earn on youtube
3) Promote some affiliate products like antivirus or other security programs.
4) Run e-course(I am not sure whether this will work for a forum)

Developing a forum into a money generate stuffs takes long time, be patient! Good luck

I agree with you man. He should have patience and if he follows the things which you have already suggested him then he can do something better.
A forum owner must keep in his mind that he must take care of his forum member as well as the forum environment.

if you wanna make some money from your forum, then you should look out for some advertising tricks like giving a space for couple of months or some flash ads. You also can have an option of starting a category within your forum for selling links.

Have you tried applying for an amazon associate account? From my experience, amazon accepts just about anyone.

and the thing with amazon, they have a wide range of topics that should suit just about any site.

Selling ad space is definitely the way to go

 

I have a forum and i sell the odd banner and link spot..

Start of small and build up some Rep... Some of my banner spots have been taken for 6 months at a time.
People see this, as i sell them here on DP, so someone will know if they buy a 2 or even 6 month banner or link,, the banner or link will show for the time they paid for..

it's been a while now, but I think I sold my first banner for 1 month for $4 dollars,, (It's a good bit more than that now)

So,, Like I said,, start of small and build it up..

In fact.. tell me how much you want for a banner spot in your header and i will have a look..
