The company I work for is a Home Remodeling Company (windows / siding / roofing / doors / gutters ) and we are trying to make a bigger presence on the web. I'm stuck at how to help promote this , Social networking and all. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If I was going to to do it: - Pay for links in the decription section on popular home improvement/remodelling videos on youtube. You just need just need to contact the author. - Run a competition to win a product or service you provide, advertise it on social networks. This will also allow you to generate leads. - Create a company fan page or group alongside your competition to generate 'likes' and increase the trust factor of your company. - Pay for an article or review about your products and services from a popular Home Remodeling website. Look for bloggers in your niche and ask them if you can provide guest posts. Write something interesting and generic (don't make it a blatant plug for your business) and most blogger will allow you to include a couple of links to your site. Work on your Google Local listing, especially if you are targeting a nice localised keyword like "Roofing Birmingham", just by tweeking your listing to be more relevant (and localised) you can jump a couple of places quite easily in the Google rankings.
