Always do Off page SEO like, Blog posting, article submission, blog commenting, link exchange, forum posting Etc.. but always preferred quality back links plz..
i think that the traditional link types such as sb. directory submissions. etc. are still effective these days.. yet it is good to use the new techniques together for a better result
I use blog commenting on high PR sites, article marketing, press releases, forum comments, directory submissions and a few pumper sites for most of my link building.
If you have lots of sites (or a couple at least), trading links is a very solid method, gives you great control. The only issue is where to find sites and webmasters to trade with, you could send out thousands of emails requesting trades and only get a dozen returned. We built tradespun.com to allow webmasters to find, set up, and track/monitor hardlink trades. We have thoroughly tested and have 300,000 link requests done that turned into 90,000 active trades (still live and being tracked) between 2200 webmasters and 60,000 domains. We do not skim any links, we dont make you use any include, these are real link trades done with webmasters of your choosing. Tradespun.com isn't officially launched yet but is in open beta while we add stuff next few weeks. It costs nothing and will grow like a monster once we've opened up officially.
I personally like article marketing, yes it very time consuming but is well worth it in the long run. Create article do long tail keywords and build backlinks to them.
Forum Posting, Directory Submission , or Blog Commenting which of these Three is the most effective way in link building?
As in my case, I would love to search related websites and collect the email ids of webmasters, send send them link request separately. I know it is a time taking process and needs much effort in return of less result. But it is permanent work and supports my website.
Forum posting shall always top the list of making more number of quality backlinks. It may be followed by blog comments, and then article submissions.
Article marketing is effective but using the correct method of how you do it. Unique content, press release and of course informative. In addition to effective LB is the profile linking to highly reputable sites.
