Unique content is the most desirable - sometimes some duplicate won't hurt -it's the amount of it i.e. too much which can cause problems

content is the most important, everyday google find this kinda spammy sites and deindex them. Those sites have no long life, since google always want to give quality stuff for readers, spam sites usually go out. Its just a matter of time.

Unique content is always preferable over the copied content as it is not given much of preference by Google. We should always try for original content.

Create a unique content much better than copied content,
even if creating blog or website and try to apply an adsense i
the copied content will be disapproved by google adsnse

If you have too much "non original" content, it's possible to get deindexed, then you have a problem. So, original content is the way forward.

Though they are getting traffic, it will not be permanent and long lasting.

Don't go after PR. Are they ranking well? is the main question. If yes, they will be thrown far away very soon. Simple copy and paste work will never give you life long impression. It is just 9 days wonder :)

the recent algo change is designed to weed this stuff out. they won't be around for long, and besides, as any GOOD webmaster or SEO knows - PR does not matter much these days.

northernweb's right. Google has been busy cleaning out sites that copies content elsewhere. Those sites might have tricked the SE algorithm for quite sometime, but for now, Google will judge them accordingly

So you'd pay me the same for a PR9 website as for a PR0 then.

unique content eventually wins out - even if you are promoting products that come with copied content, its a good idea to add your own unique content or reviews to the page. those sites get a higher rank because of how often they are updated/refreshed...so they get crawled more often than most.

copied content (like anything that's "tricking" google) is going to get caught eventually

Whether the content is copied of not, Pagerank won't be affected with it.
