New online service brings together professional services providers from across the world and allows companies to post details of their projects. Outsourcemyproject.com managing director Loren Holland gives you his top tips on choosing the right specialist and how outsourcing can save your business money:

Get quotes from different suppliers: Remember cheaper quotes don’t always mean poorer service. Outsourcing overseas, or ‘off shoring’, to countries with lower cost economies can mean you get the same level of service, talent and quality for a much lower price.

Research suppliers before committing: Read reviews about the company and find out what previous customers thought about the service they received.
Plan the project: Make sure that you have a set time frame to get the job completed and only arrange payment on completion, this way you don’t risk paying for something you don’t get.

What will work for you: Think about which functions you could outsource and how much it could save you. There are several outsourcing options from traditional IT services to design or translation and even sales and telemarketing.

And this is the classical definition of BS - never once in history has outsourcing keep the quality . The business owners know that and the clients know that , even the people doing the outsourcing know that . There are thousands of ways to cut costs and this is one of the worst possible .

I agree. Not all low bids translate to low-quality work. Those who don't do their research and make an effort in hiring the right people will definitely think this is a waste of time and money when they don't get what they paid for.
