I put all ads on pause and then the chat button appears, I talk to then and they say the add is under review, I dind’t know it would take so long to approve a banner add.

I ran an ad on DP about a year ago via AdWords CPM and it took a $6/CPM bid to get the campaign going.

You have to watch out when running site targeted campaigns - a common pitfall is to expect immediate responsiveness, so when the ad doesn't run, they'll up their bid to extraordinary amounts. Then when the ad finally gets approved, they get hit for a ton of cash. Just be wary of that.

How well did you go? I always imagined DP would have fairly terrible CTR.

yep, I've seen it take anywhere from 24 hours to 5 days for CPM campaigns to get reviewed and approved and start running.

Forums in general have a dismal CTR, DP was no exception. I was just running the campaign to see what it would take to get it started (in terms of $$$) so I didn't have and conversion expectations.

I'd say at least $6, maybe more like $8 - $10 at this point. (my guess).

Edit - I found the thread where I mentioned it in the past. Looks like I set the max bid to $10 ( I do remember trying one dollar intervals starting at $5) and ended up paying $3 - $4 / CPM.

this problem is not regarding your daily budget.you make any cpm changes it will have no effect dudue.
just go thorgh your keyword again, and make sure that your keyword must have high volume of serach.
just change your keyword and bid as low as u can.
Main thing is the quality score of your keywords, just go through it again.
if it is still not showing any impression just send me mail at my id with snapshot of the keyword so that i can go thorgh that.
If you want any assistence in addwords than do reply
