Hi, This is a new site i built using wordpress with a few plugins.. It is used for creating awareness to the dangers of children's exposure to internet porn and also explains how you can go about blocking porn sites using software.. here is the site: Block Porn Sites I want to improve the look and feel of the site so tell me what you think... It's a nice website and the content is pretty good, although in my eyes it's loaded with just advertisements. Which is the reason I'd just go away from your site instead of reading articles. I think you're making your website too big, in fact a smaller one with just a few pages would be better. You could put a logo at the upper right corner btw
Thanks for the tips Aquarezz... Tomorrow I will play around with the theme and try to remove the banners on the right... I am trying to build a big website because I understand it would be best for SEO (better than a mini site with only a few pages)... As for the logo, I will try to workout something thank again..
Great! As for the SEO thing, bigger doesn't always mean better -- I've had a few small niche websites with just 3 pages earning more than bigger websites containing a few hundred or thousand backlinks to the articles But ofcourse, everything you do is up to you
You got my attention here, since I am a parent myself. Would be great if the first pages, have articles related to the dangers of porn for children, etc... What effects it has on kids... Instead of advertising products immediately? No pun intended, but it would turn parents off if you just want to sell them something immediately. Earn their trust first

That is exactly the point I am trying to make with this site, and the first article I wrote was: Why Block Porn Sites I guess it got bumped down the list as I wrote others, but I will sure try to put it in top position (this theme is a bit hard to manipulate)... The content of the site is pretty good, one of the things i noticed was that you might want to slow down the slideshow on the main page and maybe show each slide for 10 seconds or so, I think one slide showed for maybe 1 second which is wayy too quick!!
