Best link development strategies for link shortening and tracking site?

I started a link shrinking site somewhat like tinyURL or bit.ly but it has a lot of other cool features like users being able to insert ADs into their links or use QR codes and microsoft tags, etc.

Can anyone recommend ways to help promote my service for people on twitter and other social networks?

    Thanks!!

Hire someone to develop a Wordpress plugin that auto-tweets new posts using your link shortener.

Watermark hundreds of photos with URLs using your shortener and spread the images around on social networks.

How much would something like that cost do you think? I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard if someone had done it already.. just a couple lines of code changed.

Honestly people do it for like $20-$40 because you are correct, they just edit a pre-existing one to include your site instead of another and maybe add a special feature on yours which sets it apart.
