i have no idea. i don't go directly via Groupon. Maybe they shave you maybe not. If you go via an ad network you are fine. the ad network has to pay on their terms of service. I don't care what they get from Groupon.
jackhooper. i don't understand your question. I'm just a publisher. I don't care what kind of service or product Groupon offers. I compare my content with the content of the ad and the payout i get. Then I decide if it fits or not. and this german groupon campaign worked out ok so far.
Groupon is a cool idea, i'm surprised that they valued companies like this so high. I guess lots of people are going to be doing it for a while.
