Bug Email ID being stripped out in PM ?

    Hi,

    Just curious to know if it is only me or is it an update done recently, that email ID sent in PM is being stripped out ?

    Till yesterday it was there but today when i checked it is not there anymore.

    Not getting stripped out on our end. Do you have JavaScript enabled? Are you running anything that alters the source of pages? Things like AdBlock Plus cause all sorts of idiotic issues like that.

    Well, I didnt close the browser since past 7 days, neither did any update on any addon. No adblock running as of now. JS is running fine too. Still weird, Just now somebody sent me a PM using SPACES in his email to let me add him. So is it him also experiencing the same ?

    No idea... I just tested sending a PM to myself, and it worked fine. Could see the email in the sent version and also the received version. What browser/version are you using?

    FF 3.6.15.

    In PM it looks like this

    Update: Restarted FF. No effect. Looks like this is something from my END. It worked fine in OPERA :( Any idea ?

    Did you try disabling all plug-ins/addons in Firefox?

    You getting any errors (like JavaScript errors) on the page?

    Tried it with Firefox, and works fine for me with that too.

    No, No JS Error either.

    If JS isnt working, Forum Jump won't work either. But it works too.

    You *sure* there's no JavaScript errors on the page? An error would cause the inline JS to halt, but anything based on event triggers (like menus based on clicking) would still work.

    Kinda tough to troubleshoot on this end since it works for me.

    i will reinstall FF and update this thread. Thanks for the help shawn.

    On another note, I can't access the DP in chrome, it gives me an error. I know this is only for me, if you know any solution for that will help.

    Everything else is intact, All click triggered menus are working fine. No JS Error at all. Tried running FF in safe mode. Still NO GO :(

    Maybe you have some nasty malware or something installed on your computer... Do you have a different computer to try just to see if Chrome/Firefox work for you there?

    He he, Yea. But still i have issue with chrome. Its not just with DP. Wiki, FB doesn't open either :( i will figure out that.
