Need A Update On Google's New Algorithm

    Hi,
I heard that the content farms are hugely effected by Google's new algorithm. I also heard that the traffic fell down drastically for article submission websites and almost all these sites reported this issue. So does that mean that submitting articles to such websites is useless now and can that have negative impact on our site if backlink is anchored in the submitted content!!!!

It shouldn't. Submitting articles are still a good idea, Google just effected the sites that mostly had duplicate content on them. If you have and post unique content with a link back to your site you will be fine.

thank you very much for the reply guys...... but most of these content farms have duplicated content, which is exact copy of the page of author's website. The author just copies the content from his website and inserts a link at the end of the content stating "for the original source, please visit XYZ website." So what weightage does the link from content farm carry? Is it ok to post such a content? Can we copy the content from our web page and paste it on content farm and put a link to our site at the end stating for original source, please visit so and so website? As rightly said by ForgottenCreature( i am really sorry, i don't know your name), no one knows the algorithm of Google, but if some one knows something about it, please let me know by posting a reply.Even a little bit of knowledge is worth sharing. Thank you.

Your point is valid. However there may be people who are escaping from penalization by content farming but with recent google algorithm update they stated that from now on wards unique content only ranks well. So over a period of time those people where you saw posting those kind of links also may get penalized. So just work on ethical ways results will follow
