as above, which ones are best for seo etc and why, also which ones should i avoid.

Any thoughts on using wordpress with an ecommerce addon?

 

Magento for one of the better ones; search this forum and you'll see many reasons why. I've heard zen cart is one to stay away from.

I used magneto and zencart, I prefer magneto,coz it is much easier to operate, and the ui is simple and clear, it is also comfortable to customers

 

I prefer magneto,it can bring some backlink.

The only drawback I have been seeing in many posts about Magento is that it can be quite buggy, is this true?

My vote goes to Magento as well, tried more than 10 scripts already and never saw any of those beat Magento..

 

I have to say BigCommerce. Easy to use, intuitive, has seo built-in, integration with just about every tool out there. Really this affair is a chic aloft all else. It does cost money, but it's money well spent.
