full post on first page

    i have find a theme with flash i want to show only one post on home page
    haw can i do that please help me.

    If it's the same post you want on the home page, then make that post a page, and then go to:

    Settings -> Reading

    and then change front page displays, click the "a static page" radio button, and select your page

    If you are looking to only display one item, but always have the latest post, there is also a setting (in Reading) that will allow you to set the number of posts to display on the first page.

    Hi,

    You could do what grit suggest, make the post a page, and set it as the homepage through the Reading settings. The you could remove the page from the menu using a plugin that does just that.
