Does anybody know some new statistics that demonstrate the value of SEO. I know these one from 5-10 years ago, for example:

40% of SEO campaigns aware of their ROI achieve returns in excess of 500%, while only 22% of PPC campaigns were able to achieve this value.

But is there any new ones from year 2009+?

You got to read the publications from top bloggers or companies who releases their stats often. But, i feel the ROI differs with the kind of business we do. But on a personal note SEO gives you that returns in long run and PPC in short run. Really cant argue whether it is 500% or 22%. Any more takers on this?

Yes I read these ones but I meant what good statistics you show your clients to demonstrate the value of SEO. Like I use these ones:

75% of internet users have the intent to purchase when using search engines.
62% of search users click a link on the first page of search results (you should show up on the first pages of search results)
39% of search engine users believe that the companies whose websites are returned among the top search results are the leaders in their field.
    and so on.
